However, if you decide to take up the challenge of making your own vehicle, then it is important to know what dune buggy parts are required to make the dune buggy.

First, it is important to select a base for the vehicle. Generally, Volkswagen beetle base is used as is suits the requirements perfectly. The entire body can be removed if required or it can be reduced to as little as required.  Custom base can also be built if needed but that is generally hard.

After selecting upon a base, the various components you require are a transmission set, a steering wheel, tires, a steel frame for the body, electrical equipment, a drive train and an engine and seats.
